Job Summary
Our TYLin Water Sector is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our dynamic Design Center team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing implementing and optimizing wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability. Experience with wastewater treatment plant simulation software including GPSX and/or BioWin is required.Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct detailed analyses of wastewater treatment systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare detailed engineering plans and specifications for wastewater projects.
- Design and develop wastewater treatment systems including the selection and sizing of equipment calculations and process modelling.
- Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance wastewater treatment processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful integration of new technologies and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to wastewater treatment processes for various clients.
- Participate in assignments as a member of a team sometimes in a lead role in particular areas of expertise including peer mentorship of design and consulting staff.
- Presentation of project deliverables to clients.
- Supervise delegate direct coach and mentor junior technical staff.
- Assist with development of qualification packages and proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field is required. MS. Degree preferred.
- 5years of relevant experience in wastewater process engineering and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education;
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations permitting processes and wastewater treatment processes.
- Experience with process modeling software and data analysis tools is a required.
- Certifications Licenses: Professional Engineering (PE) licensure and ability to become licensed in other states is preferred.
- Strong communication interpersonal and technical writing skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team working together toward technical excellence.
