Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency of program to developcurriculum and to coordinate activities and interdisciplinary projects Communicating regularly and effectively with parents about student progress bothformally (report cards progress reports etc) and informally (phone calls emails Participating fully in the life of the school including scheduled extra duties(playground supervision lunchroom supervision etc) and attending after hoursevents (Admissions events school performances etc) that reflect commitment tothe success of the school and the development of the whole child Pursuing relevant professional development opportunities and demonstrating acommitment to lifelong learning Conducting ones self in a manner consistent with the schools mission and valuesand as a role model for the young people in our chargeQualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a bachelors degree with a major in elementary education witha preference for an advanced degree. She/he will have at least two years prior experience witha track record of success working with children in a classroom setting.
