Job Description

Scandinavian Building Services has been a Canadian leader in retail and commercial cleaning for the last 60 years. Starting as a small family owned and operated business in Edmonton Alberta in 1982 to offering full service janitorial and building maintenance across Canada today. We attribute our success to staying true to our core values of Service Motivate Respect and Connect. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Remote Operations Dispatch to the Scandi Family!

Enjoy working remote 100 of the time from the comfort of your own home. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am 4:30pm MST.

**Candidates must be based in and legally able to work in Canada to be considered**

What your day to day will look like:

  • Input and coordinate all incoming work orders ensuring accuracy of information and navigating through various customer portals.
  • Act as first point of contact for client inquiries and escalations responding quickly and accurately.
  • Oversee all communications in connection with large clients providing follow up and coordinating between departments across the country.
  • Generate reports through Excel Smart Sheet and customer portals.
  • Manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.

What youll need to succeed:

  • 13 years of previous customer service or administrative experience.
  • Proficient with Excel. Familiarity with Smart Sheet considered an asset.
  • Top notch communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Great work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a closeknit team.

Our interview process:

  • 1015 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruitment Team.
  • 2040 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks).
  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role.
