Accents & Interiors is a locally owned Floor Covering and Interior Finish company with strong ties to the local community and construction industry. We are looking for an energetic adaptive selfmotivated individual who is interested in growth opportunities and potential for advancement as we are a fastgrowing company.
JOB SUMMARY
The Flooring Field Technician Entry Level is a field position having contact with builders and homeowners. Duties will include small repairs inspections flooring finish work and window coverings installations.
Our ideal candidate would be detail oriented selfsufficient and able to work with a sense of urgency while remaining positive and maintaining accuracy through daily processes. This is a handson position but will require basic technology skills using email online calendars basic phones apps etc.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- At least 1 year experience in a fast paced deadline driven environment
- Good basic skills with hand tools
- Intermediate technological skills smart phone email etc.
- Strong organization skills
- Mathematical skills
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift 50lbs out in front of their body to install blinds
- Comfortable climbing up a ladder sometimes in high staircases
- Problem solving mind set
- Proactive thinker
- Ability to focus on tasks within a fastpaced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers
