Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Sales Operations Support (Financial Services Support Experience Preferred)
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to travel between branches
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • FINRA Series 7 registration

Preferred Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 24 registration or willing to obtain within 180 days of employment.
  • Financial Services Industry experience.
  • Detail oriented with strong ability to streamline communication.
  • Outgoing positive team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills; innovative creative and committed to delivering the best employee experience.
  • High sense of urgency flexible and resourceful with strong skills; must maintain confidentiality.
  • Should possess ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Collaborative skills working with all levels and dedicated to a positive employee experience.

Skills

Budget Management:Knowledge of the principles and methodology of budget management; ability to utilize the tools techniques and procedures needed to establish and monitor budgets.

Effective Communications:Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Knowledge of Organization:Knowledge of the organizations vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

Managing Multiple Priorities:Knowledge of effective selfmanagement practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Staff and Career Development: Knowledge of available internal and external learning resources and ability to address learning training and career development needs of individuals teams or organization.

Equitable is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Southeast Complex team. This is a dynamic highenergy individual providing operating support to the Branch Managers and Complex COO. You will manage staff workflow in Southeast Complex branch locations including oversight of Office Coordinators and other positions. This is an onsite position working out of one of our branches within the Southeast Complex:


Key Job Responsibilities

The base salary range for this position is $125000 $140000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and shortterm incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
