Job Description:
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to support our Purchasing Operations IT Marketing Real Estate and Legal Departments. We need someone who is incredibly detail oriented can successfully manage multiple projects on a timeline and work quickly and seamlessly across business units. We are looking for someone who is interested in an opportunity to assist in the development of contract management protocols and systems.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Draft review redline advise and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts
Manage contract portfolio and processes throughout contract lifecycle
Develop internal processes to track and simplify contract management from start to finish
Coordinate communicate and collaborate within legal team and across all levels of internal stakeholders
Ability to think independently and manage a large volume of projects under time pressure exercise good business judgment and navigate gray areas
Qualifications (Required):
5 years of recent experience in contract management
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
Contract management experience within a corporate legal department corporate law firm government agency or investment firm
Proven history of primary and autonomous experience reviewing drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
Experience working directly with management teams and senior leaders
Strong interpersonal skills; proactive communicator; positive attitude; and team player
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize responsibilities
Extremely detailoriented with strong organizational and timemanagement skills
A handson whatever it takes approach to solving problems and contract management
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Desire to contribute to company growth and development outside of legal work
Qualifications (Preferred):
Experience with various contract types including vendor services IT lease nondisclosure agreements and other standard commercial agreements
Retail or related industry experience
Membership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA) or Masters Certificate or related industry certifications
Strong knowledge of contract law and state regulations
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
