Job Description

The Manager Internal Audit supports the achievement of the functions objectives by conducting assignments as per annual plan participate in the development of the function and support in adhoc assignments as required
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead/participate in assignments as per the approved audit plan
- Independently plan lead/execute and report assignments including assisting/participating in preparation of various reports to the management and Audit Committee
- Attend and/or lead meetings e.g. audit planning meetings field visit opening/closing meetings other assignment related meetings etc
- Able to present the key findings effectively to relevant stakeholders
- Actively drive the Audit Action followup process
- Promote risk awareness and risk intelligence
- Adhere to Internal Audit policies and procedures
- Actively participate in functional development activities
- Support in adhoc assignments and investigations as required
- Actively Develop Professional Awareness and Expertise

- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Relevant IT skills (SAP)
- Good planning and organising skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with different levels of management and leadership
- Team player
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to deliver presentations and talk with the business the same language is vital in being successful in this position
- Professional certifications (e.g. CIA CISA CPA CCSA CRMA) a plus
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. CPA designation preferred.
