Matchwell is the free jobs marketplace that empowers healthcare professionals to take back control of their calendars. Were currently hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs)in the East Chicago IN area.Salary Range: $53/hr $56/hr
Schedule: Contract Days 5 8Hour Shifts 12 weeks
Position Requirements:
- Must hold a valid current IN Occupational Therapy license
- BLS Certification Required Prior to First Shift
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Eligibility to take/has passed the examination for Occupational Therapists administered by the NBCOT
- Successful completion of the National Registry Examination
- Background check and Drug Screening
- Participating in discharge planning for each patient including placement patient/family education and adaptive equipment
- Supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as well as supervising OT and COTA students
- Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
- Conducting individual patient therapy regimens
- Monitoring patients response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as needed
- Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures
- Participating in departmental hospital and community continuing education seminars and inservices
