Overview of the Role
Join a leading surveying firm as their Survey Manager where youll leverage your expertise to oversee critical survey projects from concept to completion. This key leadership role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on important infrastructure and development projects across West Virginia and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong understanding of local state and federal surveying regulations to ensure project accuracy and legality.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of survey projects including planning budgeting and reporting
- Lead and supervise field crews while coordinating with branch offices for job prioritization
- Develop project schematics and analyze geographical data using GIS software
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at local state and federal levels
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate survey data into project designs
- Train and mentor junior survey staff on technical skills and industry best practices
- Review and validate survey results for accuracy before client submission
Required Skills:
- WV Professional Surveyor license preferred. Additional state licensures a plus.
- 10 years experience preferred in land surveying
- Management experience a plus
- Proficiency in Carlson Surv CAD
- Experience in oil & gas industry road design & well pad design construction layout ALTA and boundary surveys.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members through excellent communication skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in land surveying.

Must Have:
