Kumabe HR is assisting a search for a Designer to join an interior design firm that is proficient in architecture/interior design.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work on multiple projects and variety of project types at a time.
- Communicate effectively with clients consultants and team members.
- Create project schedules identify milestones and plan deliverables
- Create visual mood boards select FF&E and decorative Finishes.
- Design custom millwork and FF&E.
- Provide ID bid sets including drawings specifications and renderings.
- Collaborate with other design consultants including architects landscape architects engineers artistsbrand agencies furniture manufacturers etc.
- Coordinate with general contractors sub contractors and installers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years work experience in Interior Design or Architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Sketch up/Enscape
- Portfolio of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Revit
- Bluebeam
- FF&E specification writing
- FF&E procurement experience
- Logistics experience
- FF&E Installation experience
- Hotel / Restaurant / Luxury Residential design experience
- Based on Oahu.
