Job Summary
Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our parttime Electrical Technology (Construction) adjunct faculty pool.
These are temporary parttime positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular fulltime faculty are not available due to increased enrollment workload or scheduling: days evenings weekends and/or online.
Job Duties:
Plans and carries out instruction instructional activities and prepares learning materials for special studies. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress. Maintains classroom order and discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a valid Journeyman electrician license in the State of Kentucky and have three 3 years of experience as an electrician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a valid Master electrician license in the State of Kentucky with at least four 4 years of experience as an electrician. Bachelors degree in a qualifying field or associates degree and demonstrated competencies in a qualifying field. Qualifying fields include: Electrical Technology Industrial Maintenance Technology Engineering Electrical Technology Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
