Job Description
Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design development and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets including Aviation Communication Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED) Industrial Missile/UAV Radar Satcom Space and Test and Measurement. Teledyne Microwave Solutions invests heavily in research and development to maintain the ability to offer the worlds most advanced MW/RF capabilities for current and emerging challenges.
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Component Engineer or Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member in our collaborative environment you will work closely with engineering manufacturing procurement and quality departments providing technical leadership in the meticulous selection of Electrical Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) parts and components for our cuttingedge RF systems and products.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering manufacturing procurement and quality teams to provide technical leadership in the selection of EEE parts for RF systems and products.
Update existing source control drawings considering part availability configuration control level and electronic specifications.
Work closely with engineering and document control to select new EEE parts and generate updated source control drawings.
Demonstrate expertise in electronic component finishes including die attach wire bonding solderability tin whisker mitigation and RoHS compliance.
Utilize knowledge of alternate sources for bare die and obsolete components.
Apply expertise in packaged and bare die components such as RF MMICs PIN diodes discrete passives and integrated analog ICs.
Navigate commercial military and space level operating environments with ease.
Demonstrate familiarity with reliability standards including MILHDBK217 NAVSEA SD18 and similar criteria.
Requirements:
3 5 years of experience working as a Component Engineer or Electrical Engineer in a military or aerospace environment.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Must be a US Citizen and able to attain Security Clearance.

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
