Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Complex Sales Manager to join our team. The Complex Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales revenue for both Envue Autograph Collection Hotels and Residence Inn Weehawken. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional sales skills a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth for both hotels. Identify target markets develop sales plans and establish sales goals to maximize revenue potential.
- Manage Sales Activities: Lead all sales activities for the hotels including prospecting lead generation client meetings and negotiations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients travel agencies event planners and other key stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
- Revenue Management: Work closely with revenue management teams to optimize pricing strategies monitor market trends and identify revenuegenerating opportunities. Analyze market data and competitor insights to stay ahead of industry trends and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Collaborate with CrossFunctional Teams: Partner with marketing operations and other departments to develop integrated sales and marketing campaigns. Coordinate efforts to ensure alignment with brand standards and objectives.
- Event Management: Oversee the planning and of corporate events meetings conferences and group bookings. Provide exceptional service to clients throughout the event planning process to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular sales reports analyze sales performance and track progress against sales targets. Utilize datadriven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage annual sales budgets forecasts and expense reports. Monitor expenses control costs and maximize ROI to achieve profitability objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in hotel sales with a focus on corporate and group sales.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques negotiation strategies and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g. Marriott CI/TY SFA Web FSPMS FOSSE).
- Knowledge of the Weehawken/New York City market is a plus.
