Job Description
Education
*High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
*One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
*Proficient communication critical thinking and prioritization skills required.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Must be able to read write and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position.
*Skills in basic computer operation.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role the skills education training credentials and experience of the candidate internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary this position may be eligible for medical dental vision retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night weekend or oncall work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.

Department Overview
Our float team is an integral part of nursing services and provides a valuable resource to the entire Childrens Minnesota St. Paul Campus. Float team members apply skills in a number of areas and are extremely knowledgeable resourceful and flexible with the care they provide and units they support. Our nursing care team consists of registered nurses clinical support associates and unit operations coordinators. RNs hired into this area would support all medical surgical areas as well have the option of choosing the NICU or the PICU track (including the ED and PACU) while Unit Operations Coordinators and Clinic Support Associates hired into this area would support all of the floors on the St Paul campus.
