As the technical subject matter expert (SME) for all Inspection lines the Injectable Inspection Packaging Tech 5 plays a critical role in ensuring efficient operations. This position oversees all Operator Care activities and changeovers on automated and semiautomated lines. Additionally the Packaging Tech 5 may work on special projects and assist engineering and maintenance with troubleshooting validation preventive maintenance and other support tasks. This role also requires running lines and having a thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the Line Coordinator and Material Handler positions. If qualified the Packaging Tech 5 may also be required to learn operator/inspector activities.
What You Will Achieve
The Packaging Tech 5 is responsible for setting up operating changing over maintaining and troubleshooting Inspection equipment used in Injectable Inspection.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring evaluating and adjusting processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
Performing minor repairs as needed.
Completing batch records associated documentation (WPM) and SAP entries.
Training other Packaging Techs Line Coordinators and Operators/Inspectors.
Running lines and coordinating startups and clearances.
Collaborating with maintenance to complete repairs and develop solutions for mechanical issues.
Supporting the Production Specialist Leads and Engineers/Plant Professionals on new equipment and upgrades.
Communicating effectively with line colleagues and support personnel.
Ensuring all tasks comply with safety guidelines processing standards and SOPs including FDAs current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of related experience and training.
Language Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in calculating percentages multiplication and division.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot automated equipment and processes.
Physical Demands: Requires repetitive bending lifting twisting and standing for extended periods.
Work Environment: Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The lighting in the work area is adjusted to accommodate inspection processes. Use of eye protection is required.
Additionally strong math and reading skills are essential for understanding SOPs GMPs and Batch Records. Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment perform tasks productively under demanding conditions and adapt to new and evolving responsibilities.
The Packaging Tech 5 must be selfmotivated capable of managing daily tasks independently to meet production schedules and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Weekend work will be required.
