Job Description

0.50 FTE High School Business Teacher Permanent

Champlain Valley Union High School is seeking a high school business educator to join our school. This teaching assignment involves a selection of core business classes including: Principles of Business Entrepreneurship International Business and Financial Accounting.

The qualifications required for this halftime position include a Vermont Professional Educators license with an endorsement for high school business. The successful candidate should possess a strong knowledge of the business environment and its relevant technology. The candidate should also have experience with projectbased learning as it relates to needs of an entrepreneurial spirit and process.

Candidates should also possess the skills necessary to plan instruct and assess a proficiencybased business curriculum for high school students. Experience differentiating instruction for learners with differing abilities is ideal.
