SALARY: $95000$105000 DOE

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Confidential Company is looking for a Field Engineer to provide technical/engineering support to ensure heavy civil construction work complies with the design technical requirements codes and standards. Field Engineer reports directly to Senior Project Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position involves office and field work within assigned civil discipline(s) and requires an understanding of contract requirements and specifications as they apply to civil construction quality control (i.e. structural steel concrete) construction submittals etc.
Read and interpret Contract Drawings Specifications Standards and related technical documents in coordination with projectwide activities.
Supports work activity schedules/updates and communicates across discipline groups to ensure proper advance notifications and work coordination.
Support construction work plan packages preconstruction coordination including preparation of RFIs construction submittals and asbuilt records.
Assists in preparing monthly reporting for progress payments schedule updates etc.
Coordinates with subcontractors on advance material acquisitions and preconstruction deliverables.
Field verify to ensure construction is completed in accordance with contract requirements.
Maintains a safe clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures.
Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with high standards of workplace safety quality and construction best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fouryear engineering degree plus minimum 3 years relevant experience (or equivalent).
Civil background preferably with construction submittals subcontractor management and/or relevant field quality control inspection experience.
Commitment to safety and quality with adherence to safe work practices
Team player and good interpersonal skills
Willing to work evening and overnight shifts.
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office surveying scheduling cost tracking preferred.
SALARY:
Expected salary range for this position is $95000 $105000 depending on experience.
