Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Production Supervisor II you will be a key leader in driving operational success overseeing all aspects of daily operations from assembly to fabrication while ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures. In this role you will be responsible for developing and empowering both people and processes with a focus on enhancing safety quality productivity and ontime delivery. This position requires a strategic mindset combined with handson leadership to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence across your team. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the teams performance and driving the achievement of organizational goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead assigned operations team in delivering results across the Key Performance Indicators. *
  2. Assess capacity and develop a staffing plan by determining resource needs creating a business case for additional personnel and collaborating with Human Resources to coordinate the selection process. *
  3. Identify and develop direct reports by providing training assigning challenging tasks and conducting performance management and reviews. This includes regularly reviewing and monitoring JBAS and work order training to ensure team members are proficient and able to effectively rotate through different stations. *
  4. Direct and provide prioritization and guidance to crossfunctional core team members to achieve goals. *
  5. Manage the performance of team members including hiring coaching disciplining and terminating production staff in compliance with Intricon policies and state and federal regulations. *
  6. Execute policies and ensure compliance that affect processes and personnel within the assigned organizational unit (e.g. FDA BSI OSHA EEO regulations etc.
  7. Drive business decisions through recommendation and development of operational procedures that affect personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
  8. Analyze internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and data to identify opportunities for improvement. *
  9. Collaborate with Finance on the development and monitoring of area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending. *
  10. Demonstrate an ability to guide systematic problemsolving. *
  11. Ideate and lead continuous improvement projects. *
  12. Implement and maintain Lean daily management practices including tiered communication to drive continuous improvement. *
  13. Inspire a work environment committed to safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and Quality Management System.
  14. Promote a culture that embodies Intricons values and behaviors.
  15. Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 35 years of people leadership or equivalent professional experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred.
  • A proven track record of success delivering results in collaborative environments.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to lead functional operation and business strategy .
  • Influence business decisions and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Critical thinking skills for addressing complex issues.
  • Effective communication with senior leadership and crossfunctional teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit use hands talk and hear regularly.
  • Occasional reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.

SALARY RANGE:

The anticipated base pay for this position is: $80000 $95000

Intricon is committed to providing competitive total compensation and benefits packages. This listed range is based upon a fulltime schedule. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Base salaries are determined by taking a variety of factors in account including but not limited to candidate qualifications education geographic locations market conditions and internal equity.
