Job Description

Dynamic afterschool enrichment learning center seeking experienced English instructor to tutor students from grades preschool to 8th grade. Our culture promotes a nurturing environment where you can thrive our teachers have been with us for many years! We are looking for someone who is going to be a longterm team member and is seeking to grow and reach personal fulfillment.

All teaching materials are provided. The instructor will work with students on an individual or small group setting. Must be flexible with changes in setting and time.

Salary:Competitive salary based on merit!

Job Type: This is a parttime yearround position.

Requirements

College Graduates with BS or MS in English orComparable Degree
College students or above with at least 20 credits
Excellent communication skills with adults and children
Sense of responsibility
Patience enthusiasm willingness to work with children
Proficient knowledge in English; all candidates will be tested in Reading and Writing prior to the interview

General Responsibilities

Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to the Center policy.
Motivate and encourage students (incentives certificates etc.
Discuss with Director of students progress after every session or end of business day
Personnel (instructor center assistant) management
