What Youll Do:

  • Lead OBD System Development: Design develop and calibrate cuttingedge OnBoard Diagnostic (OBD) systems for a wide range of powertrains including internal combustion hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Oversee system integration by working closely with engineering testing and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless OBD performance.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Champion adherence to EPA CARB and global emissions standards through rigorous validation documentation and testing protocols.
  • Diagnose & Innovate: Conduct root cause analysis on diagnostic issues develop innovative solutions and implement advanced diagnostic algorithms that enhance system durability and certification readiness.
  • Drive Testing & Validation: Lead comprehensive vehicle testing under diverse environmental conditions to verify OBD functionality and performance.
  • Mentor & Train: Guide junior engineers in best practices troubleshooting techniques and calibration strategies fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Interface with customers regulatory bodies and certification agencies to communicate compliance updates technical insights and project progress.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from concept to completionensuring milestones are met resources are optimized and innovation remains at the forefront.

Who Were Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • OBD Expertise: 2 or more years of Deep knowledge of OBDII protocols emissions regulations (EPA CARB) and diagnostic algorithms.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with calibration tools such as ETAS INCA MATLAB Simulink and CANbased diagnostic systems.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage crossfunctional projects in a fastpaced innovative environment.
  • Powertrain Savvy: Familiarity with internal combustion hybrid and electric vehicle platforms.
  • Adaptability & Communication: Excellent problemsolving skills paired with strong verbal and written communication to articulate complex technical details to varied audiences.
