Job Description
The APRN or PA will work in a collaborative team effort to provide a complete scope of care for Electrophysiology patients. The provision of care includes but is not limited to analyzing pathophysiology for various rhythm disorders developing cardiovascular and electrophysiology diagnoses while formulating a treatment plan and evaluate patient response to treatment and utilizing evidencebased medicine practices using quality costeffective care.
Position Details: See patients in both the hospital and clinic setting Educating patients and families regarding rhythm disease processes management of patients with rhythm disorders pre and post procedure management potential for procedural time working in close collaboration with Electrophysiologist while remaining cognizant of the patients emotional physical and cultural needs Providing effective communication and presentation skills with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner:Mastersprepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ANP. Doctorate preferred.
Physician Assistant:Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
BLS & ACLS required. Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
2 years of experience preferred.
