JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
WPSU is looking for an organized techsavvy and curious Penn State graduate assistant to support our local radio programming starting in Fall 2025.
As a WPSU graduate assistant you will:
The successful applicant will be an energetic selfstarter who is a strong writer and editor has a clear speaking voice and is good with both people and technology. Its helpful if youre familiar with the NPR style of news reporting and have audio editing experience but were willing to train the right candidate.
Time Commitment: 20 hours/week flexible schedule. Position is for the full academic year both the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Renewal for additional years is possible.
Compensation: Full tuition waiver and a Grade 13 Penn State GA halftime stipend.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security such as those concerning alcohol and drug use crime prevention the reporting of crimes sexual and other matters.
