DESIGN ASSOCIATE
Krueck Sexton Partners is a Chicagobased nationally recognized architecture practice comprised of 35 design professionals from 10 countries dedicated to the realization of buildings and spaces that are reflective of our diverse clients. KSP seeks a highly motivated Design Associate with 1 3 years of experience who is on the path to licensure and exhibits a commitment to design excellence. Opportunities for advancement exist for those who show initiative and perform at exceptional levels within the practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform specific portions of assignments under supervision using prescribed methods
- Work from the design of others and perform routine architectural assignments
- Assist project team in developing documentation through all phases of the project
- Research products materials etc. per proposed specifications
- Produce written team correspondence
- Prepare presentation and design documents
- 1 3 years of experience in a recognized Architecture firm
- Professional Degree in Architecture
- Actively pursuing licensure
- Actively pursuing LEED accreditation
- Proficiency in AutoCad Revit Rhino Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Parametric modeling (Grasshopper)
- Basic knowledge of Deltek MS Project and Newforma preferred
- Able to work both selfdirected and in interdisciplinary teams in a fast paced and energetic environment
- Excellent visual verbal and written communication skills
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. All applicants who are not US citizens must describe their work status including visa type and duration
JOB TYPE: Fulltime Exempt
LOCATION: Reports primarily to office with some remote work flexibility
COMPENSATION: Salary range is $60000 $75000. Actual wage is dependent upon education skills and experience. We also offer comprehensive employee benefits.
