JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision this teammate performs duties involved in the recruitment of research participants development of materials collection of data and providing general assistance to the Principal Investigator and team members. This individual works on a team conducting maternalchild health research within the Department of Implementation Science.This position requires inperson work although a hybrid arrangement is permissible when job responsibilities can be successfully completed virtually. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to accommodate the needs of the study.
Description of Projects
This position will support activities for research studies promoting maternal/child health that are led by Principal Investigator Katherine Sauder PhD Associate Professor of Implementation Science and Pediatrics at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. The primary study is exploring use of clinical obesity treatment among young females of childbearing age. Activities will consist of preparing human subjects oversight documents and reports; recruiting participants; collecting data via focus groups interviews or medical records; preparing study materials; and facilitating collaborations with research partners and stakeholders. This position will also provide support for other ongoing maternal/child studies within the team. Activities will include preparing materials collecting and organizing data preparing data and operational summaries and related tasks.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Education Public Health Basic Science or a relevant clinical discipline. One year of survey research experience preferred including interviewing supervision of data collection procedures and training. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
