Job Summary:
This role requires the incumbent to work with production leads and R&D to develop new processes and tooling required to support new product introduction and existing production through continuous improvements cost reductions and repairs for high voltage low current electrostatic electronic equipment. You will be involved in new product design reviews and advising R&D engineering on manufacturing best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Help support setting out best practice for existing product tooling and attain the ability to switch priorities depending on business needs. This position will be to support the electronic needs of an electrostatic equipment production line for painting equipment.
Support production to define assembly processes by means of layout and Standard Work instructions for product build and required equipment training for electrostatic equipment.
Be involved in reviewing and advising R&D engineering department on manufacturability of new designs and processes to ensure design for manufacture are adhered to.
Help support the production and project teams on continuous improvement of existing processes and support the continuous improvement initiatives of the company.
Support the maintenance of production equipment to ensure continuous operation and high quality of products through the production process
Support the design and implementation of test and control equipment (hardware and software) to improve production processes. This involves knowledge of high voltage test environments and equipment.
Troubleshoot problems on Test Equipment Jigs and Fixtures onsite and remotely. Onsite visits may be required to successfully troubleshoot problems in the customers environment.

General Tasks:
Be involved in the design and building of Test Equipment for electrostatics paint equipment.
Through supported learning be able to design test and control equipment (hardware and software) to improve production processes for cascade ladders potting and final assembly test environments to ensure quality through each step in the process.
Learning and working through the process regarding failures of legacy equipment to complete troubleshooting or replacing obsolete parts on electronic equipment including PCBA digital circuity analog circuits and high voltagelow current capacitive ladders.
The ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to the component level.
Learning best practice when designing new jigs fixtures and processes to improve production processes
Qualifications:
Good Microsoft office base skills
Knowledge of analog circuits including transformers and capacitive ladders to generate high voltage low current systems to create electrostatically charged particles in painting applications.
IPC certification and strong knowledge of soldering and cleaning techniques to the IPC standard.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC setup an advantage
Knowledge of best practice test fixture construction and wiring
Experience working with C C Visual basic Assembler (PIC) would be considered an advantage
Knowledge of basic pneumatics an advantage
Circuit design and layout experience an advantage
Basic machining skills knowledge.
Knowledge of 2D CAD / 3D CAD
Ability to work well under pressure to changing priorities
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
Good communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff across every department
Education/Training:
Associates in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (minimum) BSEE preferred
Minimum of 5 years proven work experience in this area
Demonstrated ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
