Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating all training activities of Southeast ADA Center including organizing scheduling logistics and presentation. It also coordinates scheduling and guest communications for ADA Live! podcast. Also assisting webcourse learners with log in issues obtaining CRCC and CESP credits course development. Develops and reviews training resource material managing project email and provides one day of technical assistance each week via phone and email and managing and updating technical guidance letters. The Southeast ADA Center is one of ten centers in the ADA National Network. The center offers training and technical assistance to promote voluntary compliance with the ADA including information about the rights and responsibilities of people with disabilities and the rights and responsibilities of businesses as well as state and local governments to provide equal opportunity and full inclusion. Residents in AL FL GA KY MS NC SC TN preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide assistance to webcourse participants with log in issues CRCC and CESP issues posttest issues log in issues etc. Review all feedback forwarding to other staff who have a need to know. Send emails for Online Training to designated staff and ADA National Network regional centers as appropriate; provide guidance on changes and updates as needed for Online Webcourses. Develop and review Training and Resource Materials (Southeast ADA Center staff Affiliate Leadership Network and ADA National Network). Provide technical assistance (TA) to callers and inquiries received via project email; enter TA inquiries into the ADA National Network Outcomes Measurement System OMS database. Work with TA staff members on standard TA Resources Template Letter for Service Animals Employment and Fair Housing or other topics as assigned. Coordinate training details for ADA Live on a regional and national level (e.g. initial contact setting date/time accommodation requests etc. and assist with materials development resource lists ADA materials etc. Keep detailed tracking sheet for workgroup. Review project email and distribute emails to appropriate staff and other ADA Centers. Add individuals to project listservs as requested maintain the folders in a clear and concise method to facilitate easy access. Send project emails such as an ADA News Training Announcements or Project Announcements.
