Job Description
Morrow County School District has an opening for aJH/HS Language Arts Teacher at Riverside Jr/Sr HighSchool in Boardman Oregon beginning with the 202324 school year. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain full Oregon licensure with proper endorsements and must be Highly Qualified.
Projected starting date August 21 2023.
Position will remain open until filled.
Morrow County is located in rural north central Oregon bordered on the north by the Columbia River and timbered by the Umatilla National Forest on the southern border. There are 9 campuses approximately 2275 students and 320 staff.

150 Student days
175 Licensed Staff Days.

RULE TITLE: COVID19 Vaccination Requirements for Teachers and School Staff
RULE SUMMARY: The intention of OAR is to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID19 by requiring teachers school staff volunteers and schoolbased program staff and volunteers who work in schools to be vaccinated against COVID19 or request a medical or religious exception.
Effective October 19 2021 teachers school staff volunteers and schoolbased program staff and volunteers must provide the school or schoolbased program with either:
* Proof of vaccination showing they are fully vaccinated; or
* Documentation of a medical or religious exception
The successful candidate will be asked to provide the documentation during the onboarding process.
