The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is one of two branches of government that provide oversight for the beverage alcohol and nonmedical cannabis industries in the province. The LDB is responsible for the wholesale distribution of liquor and cannabis and operates the retails brands BCLIQUOR and BC Cannabis Stores.
The LDB is committed to governments goals of making life better for people in B.C. improving services and ensuring a sustainable province for future generations. Finance is separated into five work groups (Finance Corporate Finance Wholesale Regulatory and Compliance Finance Retail and Shared Services) and provides financial services to all LDB departments. The Finance division provides financial reporting advisory services budgeting capital asset reporting and financial transactional processing (banking accounting payable accounts receivable). Finance is responsible for the LDBs enterprise risk management program and oversees regulatory compliance for BC liquor manufacturers/warehouses.
About this role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager PCI Compliance the Senior Analyst PCI Compliance promotes plans develops test and monitors the PCI Compliance program to ensure that mission critical PCI controls and processes are in place or are remediated. The Senior Analyst is responsible for the analysis of requirements determining requirements testability and traceability the collection and provision of compliance evidence support and management of key components of the Payment Card Industry Compliance program to support ongoing annual compliance with PCI Data Security Standards (DSS) for the BC Liquor Distribution Branch.
The Senior Analyst PCI Compliance is relied upon to apply PCI Compliance and security knowledge and analytical skills to prepare training complete analytical assignments and design performance metric reports. The work requires a strong client service orientation superior analytical skills and business acumen.
A criminal record check is required.
Office environment occasional travel within the Province of British Columbia.
