Job Description

At Crowne Plaza North Augusta we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences to every guest. As a premier destination for meetings events and celebrations our hotel offers stateoftheart facilities and toptier hospitality in a modern elegant setting. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Banquet Manager to lead our banquet operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Position Overview:
The Banquet Manager is responsible for the planning coordination and of all banquet functions to ensure outstanding service and guest satisfaction. This role requires a handson leader with excellent organizational skills attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all banquet operations including setup service and breakdown of events.
  • Work closely with Sales Catering and Culinary teams to ensure event specifications are met.
  • Train schedule and lead banquet staff ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.
  • Oversee the setup of banquet rooms according to event orders and guest expectations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by consistently delivering quality service and responding to feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage event logistics and proactively resolve any issues or changes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 23 years of banquet or event management experience in a hotel conference center or similar environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication organizational and timemanagement abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexible schedule including availability on evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations audio/visual equipment and food & beverage service standards.
