Job Description
Responsibilities:
Installs new software releases system upgrades evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
Performs system backups and recovery.
Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Has knowledge of commonlyused concepts practices and procedures within a particular field.
Systems Administrator capabilities with 5 years of experience relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals performs a variety of complicated tasks a degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or similar subject area
Experience in PowerShell scripting against Microsoft Azure Office 365 and onpremise domain environments
Advanced Problem Resolution Skills
Automated Software Deployment Methodology
Experience troubleshooting technology support issues
Active Directory
VMware Virtualization
VMWare ESX experience
Virtual desktop infrastructure technologies
Experience with IT server environments and tools such as MS IIS WebSphere VMWare and Citrix.
Experience with IT server security issues related to system accessibility such as firewalls and ports.
Virtualization Technologies
Experience with Active Directory.
Familiarity with desktop virtualization.
Nice to Have:
Experience repackaging of commercial and/or internally created software into MSIs for deployment to an enterprise.
Experience working with a large complex active directory domain
Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
Support VMware and firewall configuration
VMWare Virtual Infrastructure (ESX server & vCenter)
