Duties and Responsibilities:
- Physically able to move from floor/chair to standing lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and be capable of keeping young children safe and cared for according to First Baptist Rogers Preschool Ministry policies and procedures.
- Complete Background Check Awareness Training and Orientation Training including Mandatory Reporter and CPR/First Aid trainings.
- Attend scheduled Kids Day Out trainings and meetings.
- Attend 10 hours of training per year.
- Pray for the children in your class.
- Always know the number of children in your care.
- Always remain in the classroom when children are under your supervision and never leave children unattended in the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Guide learning activities from the provided KDO lesson plans. All activities crafts and class materials will be prepared in advance by the Curriculum Coordinator in a tub available at the beginning of the week.
- Teach the Bible lessons in a creative way so that children will learn and grow in their faith.
- Serve the provided snacks assist with lunches.
- Follow the program accepted discipline policy and notify Administrator when problems occur.
- Leave your classroom clean neat and in good condition after teaching according to the classroom closing procedures.
- Follow the guidelines of the Cell Phone and Social Media Policy.
- Notify the Administrator as soon as possible of an absence.
