Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Planning for and teaching multiple sections / classes each day (ELA Math Science Social Studies Music Visual Arts Theater Physical Education or other content area depending on assignment) using a rigorous standardsaligned curriculumFor 5th/6th and 7th/8th ELA and math teachers: work closely with PVD Preps MLL Director to integrate specific language development strategies into classroom teachingDemonstrating exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skillsDeveloping strong productive relationships with students parents and familiesParticipating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff team and community meetingsCreating a positive achievementoriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards
