Description

As a Project Manager you will apply your architectural and engineering expertise to conduct property condition assessments of residential office retail hospitality industrial healthcare and warehouse buildings for equity investors lenders and other clientele. This position entails providing solid recommendations and solutions to the team and our clients while understanding the assessments potential impact on the transaction process. A Project Manager is expected to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with clients regulatory agencies and peers.


Responsibilities

Complete specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget;

Data compilation and organization;

Prepare quality supporting documents (site figures appendices etc.;

Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical analytical etc.;

Conducting site reconnaissance and identifying various building systems and their overall condition

Prepare technical report authoring.

Basic construction cost budgeting

Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project;

Plan schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule;

Identify and resolve issues with projects:

Manage multiple projects; and

Deliver outstandingclient service withtimely responses and proactive solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or related field;
  • 3 9 years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with construction best practices general building codes and various building types;
  • Must be located in Chicago Northern California Dallas or Atlanta
  • Travel will be required
  • This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

  • Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized;
  • Proficiency in Word Excel and Outlook; and
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
