About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for EN Graduate Nurses to join our team at St Vincents Hospital Melbourne in the 2025 Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program.

Under the guidance of the Graduate Nurse Coordinators Practice Development Nurses Nurse Unit Managers and Nursing teams you will be responsible for the delivery of highquality patient care in your specific areas.

  • Participate in the Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program
  • Provide quality patient centred care
  • Manage the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient
  • Document observe and report relevant nursing findings within the framework of nursing practice
  • Complete clinical handover in accordance with hospital/unitbased policies and procedures
  • Liaise with all other components of the health service primary care providers consumers carers and a broad range of communitybased agencies rehabilitation and support services general hospital settings and other services
  • Participate in unit/ clinical area meetings and areabased quality activities
  • Participate in ongoing education nursing forums and areabased education sessions as required or requested
  • Complete clinical competencies and reflective journal entries as required
  • Work within the standards of practice for Enrolled Nurses from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
