CNC MACHINIST

Key Performance Areas

Setup and/or operate various semicomplex to complex grinding equipment this includes machinery for centerless grinding cylindrical grinding cutoff CNC tool grinders measuring equipment and various other equipment used in the manufacturing process of inserts. The requirement is to setup/operate all equipment needed to produce a Solid Carbide Insert according to print and standard operating procedures.

Additionally the CNC Machinist will:

  • Input quality SPC production and other required data into appropriate company information systems.
  • Perform primary maintenance on assigned equipment.
  • Assist maintenance group in performing major repairs as required.
  • Write programs for NC/CNC controlled grinders.
  • Perform each phase of the operation in full compliance with all company state and/or federal safety and environmental regulations.
  • Always maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area(s) and observe company policies.
  • Responsible for achieving established cycle time efficiencies and machine utilization.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Manager.

Your Profile

  • Experience working with CNC machines in a mechanical or process industry preferred.
  • High School Diploma.

Shift

3rd: 11:00pm to 7:15am (Train on 1st shift)
