Job Description

      • Position: SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SchoolBased)
        Location: San Jose CA
        Employment Type: FullTime/PartTime/Contract Job Summary:

        ExpertHiring is seeking a dedicated and licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to provide highquality speech and language therapy services to students. The SLP will assess diagnose and treat communication disorders ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

        Key Responsibilities:
        • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students speech language and communication skills.

        • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).

        • Provide direct speechlanguage therapy services to students with speech delays articulation disorders fluency issues and language impairments.

        • Collaborate with teachers parents and school staff to integrate speechlanguage strategies into the classroom.

        • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet their needs.

        • Participate in IEP meetings providing professional recommendations for accommodations and services.

        • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments treatment plans progress notes and compliance reports.

        • Educate families and staff on strategies to support students communication development.

        • Stay current with best practices research and state/federal guidelines for speechlanguage services in schools.

      • Qualifications:
        • Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.

        • California State License and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) required.

        • Pediatric or schoolbased experience preferred.

        • Strong understanding of IDEA IEP development and special education services.

        • Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
