Job Description
Make a Difference
The Lead Radiologic Technologist performs leadership duties associated with the daily operations of the Radiology department.
Exceptional Skills
Assist with planning and issuing a staff work schedule. - Serves as a department preceptor and orientation coordinator.
- Serves as a department resource person and liaison with ancillary departments.
- Facilitates the needed training for new equipment.
- Oversees the quality and completeness of all imaging procedures.
Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring. - Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment positioning devices patient care items and patient monitoring devices.
Ability to build motivate and lead a high performing team.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required)
- Required CertIfications/Licensures: Radiologic Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) Certified Radiography (R)(ARRT)
- 2 years Radiology clinical experience (required)
- 1 years Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
