A wellestablished leading Manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area is looking for a mechanically biased maintenance support engineer to join the business.

The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have a varied role and be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing press tools
  • Carrying out servicing and general upkeep on a range of equipment
  • Reactive and PPM around the plant
  • Support the investigation of machine breakdowns and advice to solve the problem when required
  • Working in line with all relevant standards processes and site quality systems
  • Working closely with the full engineering team to support with a variety of tasks and projects
  • Use a variety of tools and press machines to cut and shape the tools
  • Experience with Lathes and Milling Machines

The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have knowledge of machining and tool making able to read from drawings and be a proactive and diligent engineer. I am really keen to see your CV if you are a timeserved Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field. This is a Monday to Friday role 7.30am to 3.30pm with the salary is 35k before overtime.
