A wellestablished leading Manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area is looking for a mechanically biased maintenance support engineer to join the business.
The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have a varied role and be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing press tools
- Carrying out servicing and general upkeep on a range of equipment
- Reactive and PPM around the plant
- Support the investigation of machine breakdowns and advice to solve the problem when required
- Working in line with all relevant standards processes and site quality systems
- Working closely with the full engineering team to support with a variety of tasks and projects
- Use a variety of tools and press machines to cut and shape the tools
- Experience with Lathes and Milling Machines
The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have knowledge of machining and tool making able to read from drawings and be a proactive and diligent engineer.
