Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of DSC riders to and from their assigned destinations. Also to assist as necessary all clients entering or exiting the bus and ensure all seat belts are buckled prior to putting the vehicle into motion.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years or older; a valid State of Illinois Class B drivers license with passenger endorsement is preferred.
Minimum of two years bus driving experience.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold a CDL A drivers license with one year experience in operation of semi (tractor/trailer)
HOURS:
FullTime: 40 hours a week Monday Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
PartTime: 7:15am 11:15am or 12:30pm 4:30pm
WHAT WE OFFER:
$17 per hour to start; $19 per hour for Class B CDL holder; $22 per hour for Class A CDL holder
Grantfunded hiring/new employee bonus of $400 (for fulltime employees payable upon completion of training) and retention bonuses up to 4 times per year through June of 2026 up to $1600 per year!
