Job Description

Hub International Northeast is seeking a Claims Advocate for our Specialty Lines and Healthcare Divisions. The ideal candidate should have 3 years of experience in handling claims. Specialty clams such as E&O D&O Cyber and crime claims are a plus.Fluency in and understanding of litigation terms and process is essential. Experience with long term care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) claims is a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivery of our claims value proposition to our customers and relationships;
- Performing a full range of claims support activities with new and existing clients including education and working on new opportunities with our sales team;
- Interacting with clients inperson virtually writing and phone;
- First reporting claim investigations/fact development preparing and presentation of claim reviews documenting claim files completing claim file activities retrieving and reviewing insurance contract language and calculating/recommending loss settlements.
- Engaging in claims advocacy relating to coverage disputes on behalf of HUB clients.
- Consistent conveyance of an exceptional customer experience to clients customers and business partners. Adhering to Claims Department Standards while maintaining an appropriate volume of work product.

- 3 years of experience in handling claims (Professional Liability (Healthcare and Miscellaneous E&O) D&O Crime/Fidelity Fiduciary Cyber and EPL claims is a plus
- 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Fluency in and understanding of litigation terms and process is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with long term care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) claims is a plus
- Valid P&C license is a plus
- CPCU or JD is a plus but not required
