Job Description
Position Summary
- Brookland GolfPark is seeking Shop Attendants to operate the Golf Shops in a positive manner while ensuring guests and members alike are given prompt courteous service at the sales counter over the phone and on the sales floor.

- Meet and greet customers and members in a positive and courteous manner
- Provide excellent service while processing fees selling merchandise while on the phone or when making reservations for tee times
- Learn and use names of members and frequent golfing nonmembers
- Learn about the inventory in the shop and be able to present it to customers
- Clean and vacuum the golf shop in order to present the shop In a clean and professional manner
- Refold clothing and straighten merchandise on a continual basis
Minimum and Desired Qualifications
Education
No education requirement
Experience
Age 16 or older
Knowledge Skills and Abilities- Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets or exceeds customer and employer expectations
- Ability to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to relate and work effectively with people from diverse cultural socioeconomic racial and ethnic backgrounds
- Ability to provide a level of customer service that meets/exceeds customer expectations
- Embrace and engage in cultural shift toward Continuous Improvement
Desired Qualifications- Previous experience with touch screen point of sales systems
- Previous retail sales experience
- Previous experience working in golf course operations
- Possess CPR First Aid or AED certifications
- Age 18 or older for alcohol sale at Brookland Golf
- Previous experience working with people from various cultural socioeconomic racial and ethnic backgrounds
- Fluency in Spanish Hmong Russian Somali Laotian or Vietnamese language(s)

Anticipated Work Schedule at Brookland Golf Park: Positions are seasonal parttime nonbenefited positions that will work one 1 to forty 40 hours per week. Morning and evening hours are available seven days per week. Work shifts are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Anticipated Salary:$12.21 $15.91 hourly
