BluePearl Specialty Emergency Pet Hospital in NE Portland (Hollywood) is looking for a Full Time Sterile Processing Associate.

Job Duties
Maintenance for all pack room equipment necessary for all departments
Maintenance for all operating room/surgery related equipment ER included
Monitor and organize results of sterile processing tests
Restocking of pack room surgery suites and other sterile equipment storage areas daily
Stock items that can be resterilized and/or used to create other packs
Maintaining and recording inventory and placing a weekly order to our purchasing coordinator
Maintain entire hospital back stock of suture
Assisting in providing care for surgical patients (preop intraop and postop) as needed
Maintaining cleanliness of the operating room after each surgery and performing a monthly deep clean
Setting up for multiple surgeries and procedures a day while turning over the suite quickly for emergent cases through the ER
organize clean and sterilize (Ethylene oxide and steam) all sterile supplies for the hospital
Research best practices for central sterile processing
Maintain and update educational resources for other members in the hospital to refer to
Train current and new staff members on central sterile processing at BluePearl
