Job Summary:
iCare Elder Services LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Aide to join our team in providing individualized livein care and support to elderly individuals in Scranton Pennsylvania. This is a PartTime Livein position or livein biweekly rotation with a compensation of $950 per hour. As an individual contributor the Direct Care Worker will play a crucial role in promoting the wellbeing and independence of our clients.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct assistance and support to clients with daily activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary and nutritional needs
Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry cleaning and organizing
Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
Monitor and report changes in clients health and wellbeing to a supervisor
Follow care plans and update them as needed
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a home care setting is preferred
Must have a current CPR/First Aid certification
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly individuals
Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene practices
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
