Job Description

Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a North Dakota community bank in their search for a Commercial Loan Officer.Reporting to the Chief Lending Officer the Commercial Loan Officer evaluates and recommends approval for commercial credit loan applications while also managing the existing commercial loan portfolio and generating new business.

Key Duties:

  • Process commercial credit loans interviewing applicants and gathering necessary information.
  • Analyze financial status credit and property evaluations to assess loan feasibility.
  • Verify applicant information through credit bureaus employers and other sources.
  • Ensure compliance with loan policies and regulations.
  • Facilitate loan negotiation and closing explaining terms and ensuring customer understanding.
  • Handle customer inquiries manage delinquent accounts and promote bank productsand services.
  • Participate in loan committee meetings and other assigned committees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business Management.
  • Minimum five years of lending experience.
  • Strong sales skills with a proactive approach to promoting bank products.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
