Responsibilities Sales Consultant:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and listen to their requirements in order to match their vehicle needs with one in current inventory.
- Accompany customer on test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and technology describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
- Keep abreast of new products features accessories etc. and their benefits to customers
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
- Work the internet phone and personal leads to convert them into auto sales.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and creative ideas and introduce him to the customer
- Utilize dealership sales control and followup system.
- Close the deal and complete all paperwork
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival then delivers vehicle to customer ensuring that the customer understands the vehicles operating features warranty and paperwork.
- Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealerships service department.
- Maintain a prospect development system and CSI score equal to corporate requirements.
Qualifications Sales Consultant:
- Minimum SIX 6 months customerfacing sales or customer service experience is important but not mandatory. We WILL train the right candidates for the exciting field of auto sales!
- Outside sales experience is appreciated but not required
- Experience with customers of all income levels
- Attend product and sales training courses as requested by Sales Manager.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Honesty Integrity Commitment Perseverance and the will to succeed!
- Must know and understand the federal state and local laws which govern retail automobile sales
- Basic computer proficiency
- Professional appearance
- Valid drivers license of at least three years and clean driving record no major infractions
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Applicants must pass preemployment background checks including motor vehicle record and drug screen
