TheOutpatient Mental Health Clinicis a multidisciplinary team working with individuals with acute and chronic mental illness major mental illnesses (such as Schizophrenia Schizoaffective Disorder) Depressive Disorders Anxiety Disorders Personality Disorders cooccurring substance use conditions and physical health and developmental conditions.

The program embraces evidencebased practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Multiple Family Therapy Group Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Mindfulness etc.to optimize the outcome of our clients.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct clinical treatment to adults 18 and over as follows:

• Diagnostic Evaluations Treatment Panning Urgent Assessment and Intervention Individual Couples Family and Group Psychotherapy
• Interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences
• Maintains clients EMR following the standards of the clinic.
• Attends administrative meetings and in service trainings as required.
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
• Respects diverse views and approaches demonstrates Standards of Respect and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism tolerance civility and acceptance toward all employees patients and visitors.

Qualifications:

• Grade C12Clinician III: Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work psychology marriage and family therapy counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirementsfor independent licensure in psychology social work marriage and family therapy or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC LCSW LMFT or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• Grade C16Clinician IV: Masters degree in a clinical course of study (social work psychology counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist

• At least 2 years of experience working with major mental illness and substance use disorders population

• Must be able to pass a CORI background check.
