ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development data management nonfinancial risk & compliance audit and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide with the help of over 1700 highperforming engineers risk and operations professionals.
We started out in 2015 as INGs software development hub a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.
Now we provide borderless services with bankwide capabilities and operate from two locations: Bucharest and ClujNapoca.

Your DaytoDay
- Understand business requirements
- Understand and work with ING standard frameworks tools and processes
- Analyse code test and deliver stories according to ING standards Team agreements and working best practices
- Keep technical and risk documentation up to date
- Provide support for consumers
- Share knowledge with the other colleagues.
What you bring to the team
- Tech stack / knowledge:
- Mandatory
- Experience in developing applications using:
- Java SE 11;
- Spring Framework & Spring Boot;
- REST API Swagger;
- SQL (eg. Oracle MSSql;
- Kafka;
- Persistency frameworks (eg. JPA Hibernate);
- Test automation;
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Agile methodologies and related tools (Jira Confluence);
- Familiar with continuous integration & continuous delivery principles and tools (Git Jenkins Artifactory Azure DevOps);
- Familiar with the DevOps concept;
- Strong delivery track record.
Nice to have
- OAuth2 is a plus;
- Frontend experience is a plus (Javascript web components);
- Nice to have cloud experience (Kubernetes/Openshift);
- Experience in building applications from scratch is a plus.
Education: University degree in Computer Science Cybernetics or equivalent through experience 7 years
Foreign languages: English (advanced)
