Overview

Now hiring a Manager Business Operations!


Presbyterian is seeking a Manager of PMG Centralized Service Operations (CSO) partners with Revenue Cycle teams and Central Delivery System (CDS) Presbyterian Medical Group practice sites for frontend administrative operations of professional revenue cycle functions. Oversees the PMG Centralized Service Operations team to ensure maximum patient revenue and cash flow maintaining the highest level of patient physician employee and related customer satisfaction. Integrity of patient accounts is managed through standardization of processes and workflows at sites of service. Monthly delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by PMG CSO to the CDS PMG practice sites reviews accuracy of registration metrics point of service collections template utilization digital portfolio and referrals per protocols. In addition the Financial Advocates virtual team is managed by this leader and requires a firm understanding of patient financial advocacy policies/federal requirements along with the most recent patient pricing transparency federal requirements.

Manager of PMG CSO oversees the CDS PMG Financial Advocate virtual team. Financial Advocates ensure PMG remains compliant with the federal No Surprises Act by providing Good Faith Estimates to patients. Financial advocates also assist patients through creation of payment plans assistance in finding health coverage and facilitating the Financial Assistance process.

The Manger of PMG CSO directs the functions and staff of the PMG Clerical Float Pool. The Float Pool provides registration and visit closure activities to PMG practice sites to fill vacancies creates by PTO FMLA and turnover.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The preferred candidate will reside in Albuquerque NM and work onsite.
  • Business clinical leadership
  • Frontline workflow checkin knowledge comfortable with large data set data trending and metric reviews.
  • Ability to support both virtual teams and traditional in person model.
  • Ability to review/revise policy and procedure institute and update documentation.
  • Great people skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required in related field or 6 years of experience in ambulatory healthcare in lieu of degree.
  • Leadership experience over Patient Registration and related frontend Revenue Cycle functions in highvolume ambulatory settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of professional fee revenue cycle management with emphasis on frontend activity functions and protocols in multisite ambulatory healthcare environment
  • Embrace and represent PMG mission goals and strategy of PMG are being met via managing the PMG Centralized Service Operations Team
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management within the organization board members as well as the public under highly stressful conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person via telemeeting phone and strong written communications
  • Able to work under limited supervision selfmanage work time and projects resolve issues with minimal assistance

Responsibilities

  • Lead standardization opportunities for PMG Clinics
  • Oversight of monthly metrics delivered by PMG Centralized Service Operations Team
  • Operational and financial accountability in areas of responsibility
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators to meet or exceed national benchmarks while analyzing denial trends
  • Keeps current operational procedures and policies and develops updates regarding changes in PMG to ensure compliance with government regulation
  • Builds necessary linkages/relationships with PHS personnel and external entities (vendors consultants etc.
  • Comprehension and firm understanding/interpretation of patient financial advocacy policies/federal requirements along with the most recent patient pricing transparency federal requirements.
  • Guide Centralized Service Operations in clerical competency creation and testing
  • Monitor work queues assigned to the Central Insurance Verification team to guard against losing claims to timely filing by direct management of this specialized team.
  • Hire train and direct scheduling of clerical staff to support PMG CDS clinic sites with float staff assistance to fill vacancies and insure patient flow without interruption due to staffing shortages.
