About the Position
The City of Saint Paul Public Works is hiring a Sewer Design Engineer to perform sewer planning and design activities to repair replace and rehabilitate sewer infrastructure for Saint Paul Sewer Utility and Public Works led projects.
Heres what you can expect to do:- Research review and analyze; sewer records videos and databases.
- Prepare sewer plans and details using AutoCAD.
- Assemble project bidding documents and cost estimates (e.g. plans specifications bid forms).
- Serve as Sewer Utility representative for sewer design and construction completed as part of City County State and Development projects.
- Review project plans prepared by design teams external to the Sewer Utility.

This position works at the City Hall Annex Building 25 West 4th Street in downtown Saint Paul working the hours of 8:00am 4:30pm Monday Friday.

A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and a Fundamentals of Engineering Certification and two years of experience as a Civil Engineer Ior equivalent. No substitution for education.
