Now Hiring: Forklift Operator in Knoxville TN
Are you experienced with operating a forklift and looking for a dynamic role where you can make an impact We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. Your role will be vital in maintaining the flow of raw materials ensuring a clean and organized workspace and supporting machine operators in our production areas.
Responsibilities:
- Remove empty returnable dunnage machining baskets discarded pallets cardboard hoppers from production areas and store or dispose of these items appropriately.
- Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure our warehouse standards are met in a safe and professional manner.
- Move raw materials from storage racks onto the production floor.
- Use the forklift hand pallet jack and alumalift to move raw materials to production cells and packaging areas.
- Work closely with Machine Operators assisting with tasks such as moving and filling materials like safety supplies tape rolls drums of glue boxes of end caps.
- Move elements on carts to the testing area packaging and then to the warehouse.
- Restock supplies such as tape tubes.
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety through personal behavior.
